I hope everyone is well…

I’ve been busy settling into my new life on The Isle of Anglesey and celebrating my birthday, i am now 50!! I’m not sure how i am now this age, i certainly don’t feel it. I had a wonderful weekend away with friends in The Brecon Beacons.

So, i’ve been applying and i’ve been accepted for lots of lovely shows –

North Wales print Fair. Mostyn gallery Llandudno. Saturday 4th March. This is a free entry event which has been organised in partnership with The Regional Print Centre in Wrexham, this is the open access studio where i have been making my recent screenprints. There will be over 30 stalls, printmaking demonstrations and workshops to take part in. It would be lovely to see you if you live near the area, can’t wait for my first print show of the year!

Whitehouse Gallery, Kirkcudbright. Scotland. Inspire. This lovely gallery be once again showing a collection of my bird paintings on wood in their exhibition titled Inspire. 4th March- 22nd April.

Next up, The Hepworth Wakefield Print Fair, Wakefield. This is a 2 day event 25-26th March. Its free entry for members and under 18’s, £2 entry for everyone else. There’s over 60 emerging and established artists and collectives taking part. Really looking forward to taking part in this fair once again.

My next event is a first and a very exciting one, its Anglesey Open Studios. I will be opening my Anglesey studio to the public for 8 days during 1-16th April. I will be open every Saturday, Sunday and Monday during these dates. Really looking forward to this and also getting to know other artists in the area, there are 52 studios to visit. I’ll share more info about this event very soon, there is also a catalogue available. Let me know if you would like one, i’d be happy to pop one in the post for you.

I’m also planning to show my work in a couple of new galleries and i’m still waiting to hear back from a couple of shows to see if i have been accepted. More info on that soon.
