Lino printing workshop with Liz Toole on 13th May

** UPDATE** Now fully booked. My next date at Pensychanant is Sunday 29th June.

Are you local to North Wales? Would you like to join me on a half day introduction to lino printing workshop? I’m very excited to announce i will be holding my first group lino cutting workshop in May. I’d hoped to announce it via my newsletter but my lovely web designer is currently moving house so she is a little bit busy. I’ll add the workshop info below.

Tuesday 13th May. 1-5pm. Hand printed linocut card making workshop with Liz Toole at Pensychanant Conservation Centre. Sychanant pass Rd, Conwy. LL32 8BJ
Lino cutting is a form of printmaking using a sheet of linoleum and a small carving tool to create unique patterns and illustrations.
In this half day workshop printmaker Liz Toole will guide you through the process of lino cutting and printing a 1 colour lino print greeting card on a gorgeous range of papers.
This is a great introduction to printmaking whilst having fun creating your own set of hand printed greeting cards. No drawing skills or previous lino cutting experience needed but if you have either of these this is great too.
You can bring your own design or if you need some inspiration Liz will happily guide you. One of Liz’s skills is ideas.
Your linocut will measure 9.5 x 9.5cm
You will be experimenting with printing using Liz’s specialized printmaking papers from Japan, France and Italy.
All you need to bring is a cardboard box to take your prints away in. Please wear old clothes or an apron.
Liz Toole is a printmaker and painter based in Anglesey, she has been printmaking for 20 years.
All of the materials are provided. Cost £46.
Coffee/tea and homemade cake are also included served by Pensychanant
