Spring Update

I can’t believe its February already, how did that happen?

I’ve been mega busy, i did a big show in London last month. My main focus has been on a big painting commission, so i’ve been unable to share with you what i’ve been working on. Its about 75% finished, very exciting, the family that commissioned the piece will feature in it as bird characters. I will do a big reveal sometime in March. This photo is of my rather messy desk whilst working out a colour study for one of the characters in the painting.

I’ve got a few exhibitions lined up for this Spring –

Art Junky, Phoenix Gallery, 26th – 27th May. I’ll be here all weekend selling my sample prints. My trusty dog and studio assistant ( head of quality control ) Mable Toole might also make an appearance.

Open Studios at Phoenix Brighton 7th and 8th May. My studio door will be open all weekend along with so many others. This event is only held once a year so you must put it in your diary, its such a fantastic opportunity to see behind the doors of so many talented artists of such a diverse range. I am very proud to be a member of Phoenix and I’m really looking forward to inviting visitors into my studio, chatting about my work and the processes behind it. There will also be a private view where i plan to supply some very yummy alcoholic beverages. More info nearer the time.  http://www.phoenixbrighton.org/events/open-studios-2016/

Stratford Art Fair. I’ve been invited to take part once again, i’ll be showing a selection of my prints and bird paintings on wood. 7th and 8th May.  http://www.stratfordartfair.com/

Forge 2, Culworth. I’ll be delivering a selection of my work to this lovely gallery in the countryside for their Spring Show which runs for 3 months from April.

That’s all for now folks, i will post more info about shows and what i’m up to soon …….
